We are women enthusiasts who love to create useful items because creating feels good! At Steffka's Studio in the Florida Keys, we craft, recycle and upcycle using high-quality new and used materials — turning old clothes into handmade memory quilts, keepsakes and one-of-a-kind gifts.

Don't part from things you once loved and treasured. Everything ages quickly in our short-lived modern world — but age usually doesn't mean loss of function, only loss of appeal. Tastes and preferences change, so let us improve or reshape what already exists to fit your current desires again. We made it our mission to give fabric a second chance: we renew, recycle, and renovate old stuff — cutting things up to put them together again in a different form, sometimes for a completely different purpose. That's how a pile of beloved T-shirts becomes a custom memory quilt, and an old suit becomes a quilted tote bag.
